On this page you'll find those projects and fan-driven efforts that I personally endorse. I encourage everyone with an interest in science fiction - and Battlestar Galactica in particular - to check them out.

COLONIAL FAN FORCE This is one I wholeheartedly endorse, both the efforts of this organization as well as the people involved - since I have the singular honor of being one of them. The CFF was created under the leadership and tutelage of CFF President Bill Gordon, along with Peter Noble and the efforts of a number of long time BSG fans including myself. Bill, Peter and I then helped steer the efforts to achieve the CFF's goals. The true stars of the CFF, though, are the fellow fans who ponied up more than $12,000US to place pro-Continuation statements in three separate national (and international) publications. CFF also spearheaded a donation drive for the multinational relief effort after the 2003 Tsunami in southeast Asia. To find out what the CFF is up to now, follow the link:

BSG DIRECT-TO-DVD This is another fan-driven project that I'm behind 100%: the effort being spearheaded by my old friend Peter Noble, which asks the powers-that-be at Universal to produce a movie based in the original universe of Battlestar Galactica and instead of going to the expense of a theatrical release, release it directly to the DVD market. In this day and age, when theater receipts are down across the board, the DVD market is booming. See more at the Colonial Fan Force website (link above). |

EXODUS Not content to wait for Universal to give us new original-universe Battlestar Galactica, Russell "TBC" Sanders is creating and producing a multi-part audio series set in that universe, which is expanding and carrying forward the story that was started back in 1978. Pulling together talent from all over the BSG internet fan world, Russell released the first CD of the first episode at Christmas, 2005. To learn more, and to download your free copies, go here:

FAN FILM/PROJECT
LINKS Fan-created videos, together with projects like Exodus and traditional written 'fanfic', bring new stories to hungry fans. BSG fan and Colonial Fleets member ernie90125 has created a website devoted to tracking and linking to the various fan-based creative projects - projects that bring us new stories from the universe of Glen Larson's Battlestar Galactica. Two paws up from this Dawg.
